Groups for Communities and Teams
Groups let you organize people beyond your individual friend connections. They're great for communities, teams, clubs, or any collection of people who want to share their locations and timezones with each other.
Creating a group
On the Groups page, click the management button to create a new group. Give it a name and optionally a description. Once created, you'll receive a group code that you can share with others.
Joining a group
To join an existing group:
- Go to the Groups page
- Enter the group code in the "Join a Group" field
- Choose your precision level for this specific group (or use your default)
Group codes
Each group has a unique code that members can share. Anyone with the code can join the group. Group codes are the primary way to invite people.
Group members
Once in a group, you can see other members' locations and timezones (subject to their individual visibility and precision settings). Group members also appear on the Map when the group filter is enabled.
